A couple of fantastic opportunities have arisen to join one of the fastest-growing product companies in the industry and Thumbs Up are recruiting for a number of design roles:

• A Junior Graphic Designer to join us within our Twistalicious confectionery brand team and work on delivering concepts for both print and packaging in our ever expanding range.
• A Middleweight Graphic Designer with experience working on licensed product, understanding style guides, product ideation and packaging design.

Your role would include but not be limited to:

• Helping to conceive and develop new product ideas.
• Working as part of a team to research current and future trends, packaging design, presentations and catalogues.
• Design advance sales materials for new products.
• Creating CAD visuals of new products prior to launch.
• Liaising with licensors, factories and with our China office team.
• Attending internal and external meetings with the product development and sales teams.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Fluent understanding of Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop a must).
• Keen eye for composition, a meticulous attention to detail and a real interest in the gift and confectionery industry.
• Have a love for all things packaging from cutter creation to mock-ups and print.
• Have a positive attitude and enthusiasm to take advantage of every learning opportunity.
• Ability to turn around quality work to tight timings.
• Understanding of digital media capabilities and limitations.
• A keen eye on market trends and industry innovation.
• A hard worker and able to cope in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• If applying for our Middleweight Designer role, 2-3 years experience is preferred.
